Developer Abandoned Me, need recommendations

Hello,

I recently paid a company that is listed on the forums as a developer. He made a valiant effort to make what I asked but ultimately he fell short, didn't include everything I asked, and hasn't responded to me in over 4 days.

So now I need someone to finish the strategy for me.

For some reason it's not taking all the signals that it should be which is the first thing I want fixed.

There are a few other things that need to be tweaked but overall I don't think it should be too bad. He did build most of the frame work, now its time to button it all up.

Primarily I want someone that is good at communicating. I don't expect someone to drop everything to focus on me, but responding in a timely manner and jumping on screen share to ensure we are on the same page is extremely important.

Who would you recommend?

While our support cannot recommend specific vendors you can use the public NinjaTrader ecosystem website to find developers and then communicate with them to find one that works for you. Because it has only been 4 days I would suggest to continue to get in contact with the existing developer in case they were simply busy or could not reply for some reason. If you found the developer on the public ecosystem website and it has been a few weeks with no contact I would suggest to email vendorsupport[at]ninjatrader.com with details on the vendor.

Sorry, to be clear I haven't heard from him in 4 days, but even before that communication has been very spotty and he isn't actively engaged or working on the bugs that I have been telling him about and asking him to work on. I have sent him an email daily and request a screen share so we can ensure we are on the same page and he has no interest in doing that.

I recommend Mark at Whitmark Development for this type of project if you can get him. He has my highest recommendation if he is available.

I had a similar experience once, so I understand how frustrating it can be. Communication is key when working with developers.
I found a reliable developer who saved me back then. They were great at keeping me in the loop and addressing my concerns promptly. Also, if you want to do the work yourself, and you don't know how to code, use jasper.studio. It's pretty easy to create sites there. So, I hope that helps!
