In Strategy Builder Take Profit not firing

Hi,

We have a simple test on the Strategy Builder. The stop is working good but the take profit is not taking profit. See https://app.screencast.com/W6An9qAr05jB9

Let me know things I can look at and do to fix this to ensure it takes profit in the Strategy Builder just like it is working to do the stops fine?

Thank you for your post.

I notice that the Stop Loss has "fromEntrySignal" set to SP and the Profit Target has TP. This value should match the entry signal name; since they are both using different entry signal names, I suspect that could be the cause. You could try changing the SetStopLoss to use the same entry signal, SP (since that is working for the stop loss), and I suspect that both the stop loss and profit target would work as expected. For more information about SetStopLoss() and SetProfitTarget() which are used on the Stops and Targets screen of the Strategy Builder, please see the following links:

Thank you for your reply.

As mentioned in the help guide links I shared, using an empty string will attach the exit order to all entries. You could test your strategy out with leaving the field blank and observe the behavior to see if your strategy works the way that you would like it to.
