How to offset +/- FisherTransform indicator please

I would appreciate any assistance on the offset indicator FisherTransform.
I'm a brand-new strategy builder user, and I want to offset up or down 12 ticks.
if the FisherTransform crosses above Middle EnterLong and 12 ticks below the stop loss24 ticks.
If the FisherTransform Middle, and cross below, then enter short +12 ticks above the stop loss 24 ticks.
    Thank you in advance

    Hello VinhLe,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader forum community!

We have an example of how to offset an item value in the Strategy Builder here:

        Hello VinhLe,

        Thank you for your reply.

Based on your screenshot, you are using the Cross Above comparison. It is expected behavior for offset to be greyed out/disabled for Cross Above or Cross Below in the Strategy Builder because the crossover comparisons only look at the value of the series and an offset may not be applied. This is mentioned in the release notes here:

As a workaround, you could create a custom series or a double variable that holds the value of the indicator with the offset added, then you can make your comparison with that saved value from the series or variable.

Please let us know if we may be of further assistance.

                Hello VinhLe,

                Thank you for your reply.

I can create an example using a different indicator. Please clarify what you are looking for. You previously described the following:
if the FisherTransform crosses above Middle EnterLong and 12 ticks below the stop loss24 ticks.
If the FisherTransform Middle, and cross below, then enter short +12 ticks above the stop loss 24 ticks.
For example: Do you mean that if the FisherTransform + 12 ticks crosses above the Middle value? Or if the FisherTransform crosses above "Middle" + 12 ticks?
Please provide a more clear example of what values you are looking for in the crossover, where you would like to apply an offset, and what price you desire for the entry and stop loss orders.

I look forward to your clarification.

                    Hello VinhLe,

                    Thank you for your reply.

What you are trying to achieve is still unclear to me. I started to make an example and began to doubt myself. Please give a thorough example, including example values for FisherTransform, Middle, your entry price, and stop loss price.

For example, if the Middle is set to ___ and FisherTransform crosses ___ price, I want an entry at ___ with a stop loss at ___. I do not understand if you want the +/- 12 ticks to be applied for the crossover or the entry price and really need this to be clear so I can make an accurate example for you in the Strategy Builder. Are you looking to see if the indicator crosses over the price of Middle - 12 ticks or crosses below Middle + 12 ticks? Or if this is not what you are looking for, maybe you mean if the indicator crosses above/below the Middle with no offset, you would just like an entry order submitted at +12 or -12 ticks from the Middle value?

I apologize for dragging this out further without an example, though I just want to make sure I fully understand what you are looking for and not make any assumptions prior to creating an example.

I look forward to your reply with a concrete example that demonstrates where the offset needs to be applied.

                        Hello VinhLe,

                        Thank you for your reply.

I believe I was overcomplicating the offset information. I misunderstood your explanation and now it is more clear to me. My understanding now is that you want to place a buy order 12 ticks below or a sell order 12 ticks above the price at which the cross above/cross below occurs. This means that the offset needs to be applied when setting your order's price and does not apply to the condition at all. This may be done by setting the action to place a limit order at the desired price. Here is an example of how you could set up the crossover condition, then set the action to buy at the Close price - 12 ticks or sell at the Close price + 12 ticks:

I appreciate your video and how much it has helped me, but I have a question: Is there a way to set up a trailing stop that closes 12 ticks after a stop re-entry? If so, please advise.
                          Thank you so much

Thank you so much any help
