Using the builder to detect divergence between multiple indicators

Hi,

Can someone help me (or redirect me to a thread) on how to use the builder (variables and conditions) to spot the divergence between the 2 indicators?

- Purple dots are the swing indicator and below we have the RSI.
- can be other indicators but I'd really like to have an example

To better clarify, are you trying to detect when two indicators diverge meaning an amount of price difference between two indicators? For example two indicators that have a similar price, one starts to move away which would increase the difference in price between them?

Hi,

I'd like to know how to use the builder to set something like,


enter a trade, when the price (1 bar ago) is higher than the price (10 bars ago) and the indicator presents a lower value (1 bar ago) from the value (10 bars ago)

These 2 scenarios need to happen before I can set "enter short/long position"

To do that would only require checking a price condition for each of those items. In the builder when you select price series or indicators you are given the option to select a BarsAgo, for what you are asking you would set up a condition like the following:

Left: Price -> Select the series you want -> Enter 1 for the BarsAgo
Center: Greater
Right: Price-> Select the series you want -> Enter 10 for the BarsAgo

Your second condition would look like:

Left: Indicator -> Select the indicator you want -> Enter 1 for the BarsAgo
Center: Less
Right: Indicator -> Select the indicator you want -> Enter 10 for the BarsAgo
