    Try Catch for ATM

I am working with ATM structures. How do I place a try catch around an ATM order

Playback101, Stop price can't be changed above the market. affected Order: Sell 1 StopMarket @ 11875.5

You always gonna see this error from NT8 even with try/catch. There is a way to disable all NT errors using custom addon but I wouldn't recommend it.

      Hello BartMan,

try/catch is a C# feature that catches C# exceptions, that wouldn't be useful for any NinjaTrader events like an order rejection.

The ATM system is completely separate from any other types. If you are using the ATM from a NinjaScript strategy you would need to use the method GetAtmStrategyStopTargetOrderStatus to get information about the ATM targets. If the ATM was disabled due to the rejection that status check may fail to produce anything because the ATM runs seperate from a NinjaScript strategy.

If you are using the addon framework account to submit the ATM you can see this rejection using the OrderUpdate event. You would find the order that has a rejected status.
