how to buy 1000 dollars stock

1. how to buy 1000 dollars stock, now i can only buy 1000 shares , i can only see the shares option.
2. how to keep order and execution records when close and restart the software ? now it is auto deleted.

To buy 1000 dollars of a stock you would need to figure out how much each share is for the stock you wanted to buy and then multiply that until you reach at or less than 1000. The platform uses a quantity for what you want to buy, not a dollar amount.

The executions and orders are kept after restarts for any live order or execution that was submitted in realtime to an account. Using modes like playback or historical trading would not be kept because that did not actually happen. If you are placing live trades to a sim account or to a live account those orders/executions will be in the database. You can view previous executions using the trade performance window.
