Chart stops displaying entries/exits when I enable a strategy

It used to be when I enabled a strategy under "Strategies" tab, it would show entry/exits in the past, as ifthe strategy had executed to show where it would have entered/exited.
Now sometimes when I disconnect and reconnect, then re-enable the strategy, there are no indications on the chart that the strategy is enabled. I've tried clearing DB folder and rebooting but no luck, seems very odd.

Thanks for your post.

I see that you are running an older version of NinjaTrader 8. Please upgrade to either NinjaTrader 8.1.1.1 or 8.0.27.1 by following the steps below.

• First, log in to the NinjaTrader Client Dashboard at account.ninjatrader.com
• Click the 'Download' button on the bottom left corner of the Dashboard.
• Select 'Download' to download either NinjaTrader 8.1.1.1 or 8.0.27.1
• Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.

After upgrading NinjaTrader using the steps above, retest the strategy to see if the same behavior occurs.

Ensure that you have the 'Plot executions' setting in the Data Series window set to 'Text and marker' (Select the 'Data series' button on the Chart Toolbar > locate the 'Plot executions' setting > set to 'Text and marker').

When a strategy is enabled on the chart, the name of the strategy should appear in the top-left corner of the chart window. You could also check that the strategy is enabled in the Strategies tab of the Control Center.
