Strategy Sync Settings

Hi, I run multiple strategies on the same instrument. When I enable my strategies some start with 'Sync' as true and some with 'Sync' as false. They are all set with start behaviour to wait until flat. I do not believe I want 'Sync' as true as I run multiple strategies. I have looked in the strategy set up menu when I enable a strategy and I have looked in Set.Default settings. I cannot find the setting to determine whether 'Sync' should be true or false.

Please advise.

Thank you for your post.

Sync will show 'True' when the strategy position and the account position are the same. If your strategy and account are in different positions, then the sync column will say 'False.' Trading multiple strategies on the same instrument and same account can certainly result in the account position becoming out of sync with the strategy position. Hello, I'm still trying to figure out if the "Sync" status should be "True" in order to activate the Strategy? What is the ideal status to activate the strategy?

Hello TraderTate,

The sync status has no relation to activating a strategy, that is simply showing if the strategy position matches the account position. Your account can have a different position from your strategy for example if you were trading two strategies on the same instrument the sync would become false because each strategy only knows about its own positions.
