Bars Since Exit/Entry Causes No Trades?

I have used Bars Since Entry/Exit just fine in other strategies but I ran into this issue the other night and again tonight. If I add a condition of Bars Since Exit > x, it executes NO trades. Tried Since Entry, same results. I dont understand what is causing this, and I would really like to use it to keep the strategy from over trading. Of note, both times it was with Shorting strategies.

Hello, thanks for writing in. The Print method will be the best tool to use to debug a situation like this. It will let you see what the value of Bars Since Entry/Exit is and it will explain why your entry order is not triggering. See here for a detailed guide on how to use Print to debug:
