reverse trading strategy

hello, I want to create a strategy like this over atm or ninjascript.

I made a small video example for a clearer understanding of my strategy.

Hello, thanks for writing in. The ATM templates have an option in the More section to Reverse on the target or the stop, that is how it would be done with no code. For a NinjaScript approach there are many ways of doing this. Here is one way that I made on reversing:

Another way is used by the SampleMACrossover strategy, it just calls EnterLong() and EnterShort(). When in a Long position and EnterShort() is called, NinjaTrader will reverse for you.

hello i installed strategy ninjatrader but it doesn't show up in strategies section

Likewise, it does not appear in the strategy builder section.

I want to use this strategy in oil markets futures markets.

please show me if i made a mistake somewhere

Hi, thanks for your reply. To import the script, go to Tools>Import>NinjaScript Addon, then select the "ForexReversal.zip" file and this will import it. It should then show up in the Strategies list. This is not made in the builder though, it requires the OnOrderUpdate/OnPositionUpdate event methods. The builder can only make simple strategies so if your strategy requires complex order management then it would need to be unlocked.

I can confirm that a strategy this complex would not be feasible to make in the builder, you would need to use advanced order handling techniques to detect when orders execute, and send an order when that execution occurs as shown in this example:
