ATM Strategy Create Quantity

I see no way to change the quantity while the order is pending. So I must manually change the ATM? Is there a way to do this in code? Or to create a new ATM in code?

• Are you creating your own NinjaScript Strategy?
• Are you working with or modifying someone else's NinjaScript Strategy?
• Are you working with ATM Strategies only?

I see you mention something about a code, but ATM Strategies don't require code.

Would this have been better posted in the Indicator Development or the Strategy Development section of the forum?

Yes I wrote a Strategy, in NinjaScript "code" and I invoked the command ATMStrategyCreate having the required ATM already in place, but there is no way to over-ride the quantity or modify it if the Create is a BUYSTOP, I can move the line with the mouse to change price, or use Script "code", but can not change Quantity. You can move this to any other section if that is where if belongs. Thanks, Ken The second question is, if the above is not possible, can I edit the ATM in NinjaScript "code" I dont know what else to call it...?

Hello, thanks for writing in. The Quantity needs to be pre-determined in the ATM template before the ATM template is submitted by the strategy. There is no supported way to change the template as it is an XML file that resides in Documents\NinjaTrader 8\templates\AtmStrategy. You can use C# to modify these files, but unfortunately, we do not have any examples of this, you would need to research how to modify XML files through C#.
