Run Strategy On Simulated Account - But Enter Orders Manually On "Live" Account?

Hello, I've been working with NT8 to build different strategies, but I'd like a way to run them on the Simulation account -- but be able to enter orders manually for my live trading account. The reasoning here is that I'm the final decision maker of doing trades, without the strategy putting them in for me.

Just call me super-cautious, but I'd like to fully vet a strategy this way before contemplating allowing it to enter orders for me. Is this possible? It would greatly help me in my development if it were.

I appreciate any ways I could do this if possible.

Yes, this is possible.

The Strategy will send orders to the Account selected in the Account drop-down the strategy parameters.

Your manual orders will go to the Account selected in the Account drop-down of your trade window.

When I attempt to use "Order Ticket" it tells me it wants to disable global simulation mode. Does this mean that I can still direct a strategy to use the Simulation account even if I disable this? Or did you mean another specific window? Please advise.

Yes, even when global simulation mode is disabled you can still select the Sim101 in the Account drop-down of any trade window or strategy. Go ahead and give it a try.
