Trailing stop moves with each bar

Hi people, i would like to ask the following question.

Based on the trailing stop model of the system that you offer called "Trail Builder Example", what kind of conditions should I introduce so that the trailing stop moves by always placing below/above the open of the last bar instead of moving at a fixed distance from the price?

Instead of setting the stop price to (Close[0] + (TrailStopDistance * TickSize)), set the stop price to Open[1] in a condition that ensures CurrentBar is greater than 1.

I have done is, but the only thing I have achieved is that the stop is placed at the open of the bar prior to the entry bar and remains there static until the price touches it. I must have misunderstood. Could you provide me with an example to see where I am going wrong?
