I would like to know how I can do a backtest on a watch list, thanks.

Hello, thanks for writing in. The strategy analyzer can perform backtests on instrument lists. For example, in the Instrument field of the strategy analyzer you can click "Futures">"Select All" and the entire list will be backtested with the selected strategy. You can make your own instrument lists from Tools>Instrument lists.

Thanks but i want to do a porfolio backtest, no a indiviual backtest on each asset in the list.

Hi, currently portfolio backtesting with full access to the underlying account is not supported. We have an open feature request that I will add a vote to for you: SFT-137

Please add my vote for portfolio backtesting. I think its the only feature that's lacking in NT currently compared to TradeStation and others and will help traders tremendously. Thanks
