Hi folks,

If one has a successful/acceptable strategy built with the Strategy Builder, say, on NQ, what variables or adjustments might one consider when trying to adapt a variation of that strategy from a copy of the strategy on NQ to allow it to also work reasonably well with ES or other instruments you have found? I am testing changing some of the strategy settings, time frames, stops, etc but anything you can add to what to look for would be appreciated to as additional input?

This request for trading advice is open for the community to answer.

My recommendation would be to create input controls for any indicator parameters or loops, etc, ensure the script implements 1-tick intra-bar granularity, and then do some optimizations on different instruments to see what settings work out best.
