Hi,

On the MACD, could you help with how to use the Strategy Builder to have it evaluate using the histogram along with the crossover of the fast/slow lines?

For example:

When MACD is above, say, 10 the fast crosses below the slow and the histogram is decreasing go short and if MACD is below, say, -10 the fast crosses above the slow and the histogram is increasing go long.

Thanks for your post.

The MACD Diff plot can be used to reference the histogram of the MACD indicator.

For example, a condition could be created that checks if the MACD Diff plot is greater than a Numerical Value of 10.

See the attached example script demonstrating what this might look like in the Strategy Builder.

You could reference the Avg plot and the MACD plots from the MACD indicator to compare the plot lines from the indicator in a crossover condition (CrossAbove/CrossBelow).
