Automated Strategy Not Executing on Live Account.
I built a strategy using the Strategy Builder. It works fine in sim mode. I have an account with Earn2Trade with Rithmic as the datafeed. When I selected the live account in chart trader, the strategy did not execute. I checked global mode and that's turned off. Any idea why the strategy would not execute? Thanks.Tags: None

Changing the Account selection after a strategy has been run once will cause the strategy to immediately disable.
Since the orders the strategy places are tied to an account, the account selection cannot be changed.
Add a new instance of the strategy and select the live account right at the start.
If this does not resolve, then the general debugging steps should be followed to look for errors on the Log tab of the Control Center, enable TraceOrders, and add prints.

Yes, that is correct. If the strategy is enabled on the Sim101 and submitted an order, then the Account is changed the strategy will not run and will immediately disable.
ChartTrader has nothing to do with a strategy. The Account selected in ChartTrader does not affect the strategy in any way.Chelsea B.NinjaTrader Customer Service

The ChartTrader selected Account is for manual orders placed in ChartTrader. The Account selected in the Strategies window for the strategy is the account the strategy will trade to. They are not connected. Meaning if you change the Account selected in ChartTrader, this will not change the account selected in the strategy parameters.Chelsea B.NinjaTrader Customer Service

I'm not quite sure I'm understanding your inquiry. Are you saying you have added a new instance of a strategy with a new account, without changing the account selection, and enabled the strategy with no errors on the Log tab of the Control Center, added prints and enabled TraceOrders, and you are finding in the output that a condition was true that submitted an order but the TraceOrders output is not showing what happened with the order?Chelsea B.NinjaTrader Customer Service
