Strategy, Enabled = true

Hello,

to not manually activate a strategy in NinjaTrader 7, can i add this text to the strategy code:

Enabled = true;

How to do this for Ninjatrader 8, I do not get anywhere.

Setting the Enabled property to true programmatically from within the script was not supported or documented for NinjaTrader 7. I believe it was only meant to be used by toggling Enabled between true/false in the Strategy dialog UI window. Within NinjaTrader 8, there are no documented or supported ways to auto-enable a script and the Enabled property was not directly carried over from NinjaTrader 7.

That said, we do have an open feature request tracking interest in such a property or a documented way to auto-enable a script. I have added your vote to SFT-392. Please reference this internal tracking number when contacting Platform Support if you have questions about this feature request.
