I'm looking for detailed information on MAE, MFE, ETD, etc. I have read the definition page.
https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...efinitions.htm [Edit: Fixed URL]
I understand the definitions in concept but what I would like to learn more of the significance and how to interpret the graphical information.
I just ran a strategy in Market Replay over nearly 4 months of data. I got good results but I have several large trade losses that I'm looking to eliminate to minimize drawdown. I think the following graphs are very helpful, but I'm not sure how to get the most from them.
In short, can someone please provide a website/webpage/video that elaborates on these statistics?
Thank you!
Matt
For the below graphs, I'm entering 4 different trade types (1 to 1, trailing, etc.) for every trade entry setup. Hence there are quite a few trades.
I think what this ^ graph is saying that once a trades reaches about $300 in loss, cut the trade off and take the loss.
I think what this ^ graph is saying is that once I reach about $1000 in profit, I need to do better in trailing so as to not result in a loss. It appears that I had a trades in about $1300, $2000, and $2600 of profit that resulted in a loss.
