How to "reset" or "stop managing a position" if it gets manually closed?

Say my strategy takes a long and I manually exit the long. My strategy still thinks: Position.MarketPosition == MarketPosition.Long? Then when it "exits" my account is now short.

Manually closing a position will not update the strategy so it will at that point be out of sync. You would need to disable and re enable the strategy so it knows what the position is.
