NT8 slows down with Strategy Builder.

Hi,

Even after a few minutes of using Strategy Builder, I'm noticing a very palpable lag and slowdown of Ninjatrader: For example, as I type the 'Signal Name' for an Entry, I notice the letters appear one after the other in slow succession. And I'm running NT8 on a Gaming PC w 32 GB RAM.

Could you recommend a solution? What could be the cause..?

Also, this slow down is even more visible when I run Playback. For example, the first run of the playback goes quickly, but with each successive run, the slow down is apparent. The progressive slowdown is especially visible when running playback at higher speeds.

Try a clean environment by renaming the Documents\NinjaTrader 8 folder and running the repair from the installer.

In a clean environment can you reproduce?

What type of CPU, what type of hard drive, and how much memory is installed on this machine?
