Checking if another Strategy Opened Order

Hello is it possible to have one strategy check if another strategy has an order opened? If possible what would be the syntax to check for an open position?

Communication between strategies or any scripts that are not host / hosted relation (like an indicator method call) is not supported.

You may be able to use unsupported custom c# with a static class to have communication.

Can the strategy check if an order is open on the account? If not possible then can one strategy handle orders for various instruments?

Hello r3n3v,

You can use the Addon approach to loop through an <Account>.Orders to see if there are any orders that are OrderState.Working or OrderState.Accepted.

You can add instruments to a strategy with AddDataSeries() and place orders to the BarsInProgressIndex of that series.
