How do I access the VIX from the strategy?

Hello,

Currently, my primary data series on the Chart is tick-based S&P 500 emini, and I would like to be able to access the ^VIX data from my strategy (^VIX is available with my Continuum subscription and I plot it on a separate chart). Kindly advise how can I achieve that?

Hello billythekid72,

You can use AddDataSeries to add secondary data. If you have not worked with multiple series before using the strategy builder is helpful here. you can add secondary data and then it will generate the necessary code to use that based on the conditions you make. You can then click View Code if you are manually coding to see what was made.
