Earning Dates

Hello newdill,
Thank you for your post.
If you are able to obtain the earning dates in a .txt format or put them into a .txt file yourself from a calendar or list, you could then use StreamReader to check that .txt file and compare the current date and time to see if it is an earning date or not. You could use conditions with variables or bools for After Hours and pre market information from the .txt file to define certain actions that your strategy should or shouldn't perform. I have included some links below to our reference samples that demonstrate how to use Stream Reader as well as how to use a time filter to limit trading hours:
