    RealtimeErrorHandling.IgnoreAllErrors Allows Strategy to be Disabled

    So I just want the bot not to terminate. Just want it to continue to run.

    I don't want to have to babysit the bot all-day.

    I use OnBarClose

    The RealtimeErrorHandling only applies to order errors and does not apply to run-time logic errors.

    Unfortunately, something appears to be malfunctioning with the forum image viewer.
    May I have you re-post those images as file attachments to your post and not as images. (Click Upload Attachments below and to the left of the post editor)
    Or may I have you provide the text of the errors instead of screenshots? (You can Ctrl + c to copy an error from the Log tab of the Control Center and Ctrl + v to paste)

    Further, we recommend never walking away from an open position. Interruptions in internet, unexpected atm or strategy behavior, and other factors could result in an unwanted position if not monitored.

          Error

            Hello lostuser,

            This may be from an order the strategy previously sent that is no longer in a working state.

            Remove the instance of the strategy from the Strategies window Configured area, and add a new instance from the Available area.
            Is the new instance able to enable?

              Can I stop it from terminating as it will leave an order still active but be terminated so I have to manually close the position.

                Hello lostuser,

                From what it looks like the strategy was not able to enable. If this was the case, you would not be able to stop it from terminating because the strategy never started running.

                If the strategy was running and placing orders and then encountered this order error, that would be unexpected and I would need a reduced test script that can reproduce to report to our development.

                  I can enable the strategy fine again but my question is how can I stop it from terminating itself?

                    Hello lostuser,

                    RealtimeErrorHandling only applies to order errors and does not apply to run-time logic errors. If its an order error, the strategy will continue running. If its a run-time error, the strategy will disable.

                    This specific issue, is a run-time error when instantiating and activating the script due to start up behavior.

                    This means for this specific issue, if NinjaTrader is not able to close a previously submitted order, it will have a run-time error and fail to start.
