Copy properties

I am confused about how best to 'capture' the values of some Strategy Properties into an instance of a class.

What I want to do is use the values of some properties as the "base" parameters in my logic but also have them over written by some other Strategy Properties depending on the situation.

I want to make a new class whose constructor would create default values copying the "base" parameters but received an error that I need an instance of the strategy.

So I may better assist you, please clarify what you are aiming to achieve:

• Which properties/parameters are you referring to? Please provide an example.
• At what point are you wanting these values to be overriden/changed?
  • You mentioned "depending on the situation" - do you mean that the original "base" parameter will be updated once a certain condition within your logic is met?
• What is the exact error message that you got and when does it occur?
  • To send a screenshot with Windows 10 or newer I would recommend using the Windows Snipping Tool.

  • Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screenshot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save it as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.
