Account flat status across strategies

I know I can determine if my strategy Builder Strategy is flat. But can you create a method to determine that the account is flat. So if i enter a manual trade, or i have multiple BOTz running on the same account, then the trade action I would normally do for my strategy builder trade would react as if I was not flat in its strategy.

So, if my strategy says no shorts if strategy long, then it would not take a short if the actual account was long.

Without it, it becomes difficult to run multiple strategies at the same time. THANK YOU!

Thank you for your post.

Not with the Strategy Builder, no. The Strategy Builder does not have the means to subscribe to updates from the overall account and will only be aware of orders it has placed itself. While this would be theoretically possible with manual coding and use of addon code to subscribe to the overall account and retrieve the account's positions, it would get really complex to implement in multiple strategies and would not be recommended, as it would be possible for multiple strategies to trigger orders before the position updates and you would end up out of sync anyway. We would suggest instead to combine all your logic into a single strategy rather than run multiple strategies on the same account and instrument combination for this reason, so it may all be managed by the single strategy instance.
