Creating Conditions for Bar Closes

Hi Good Folks,

Hopefully an easy question for you.
How can the conditions for bar closes be created?
I wish to develop Conditions that use Closes of Bars
For example - Condition=Bull Bar Close in top 90% of range
My best attempt = Closing price of 1 bar ago is greater than 90% of its range
(??? not sure how to define Range of Bar)

I notice you posted this in the NinjaTrader 7 > Strategy Development section of the forum. I would like to ask a couple of questions to clarify:

• Are you developing this script for NinjaTrader 7 or should I move this thread to the NinjaTrader 8 section of the forum?
• Are you using the Strategy Wizard/Strategy Builder to develop this script or are you writing it directly from the NinjaScript Editor?

Hi, thanks for writing in. You can define the range of the bar by subtracting High[0]-Low[0], if you are using the strategy builder you will not be able to do this arithmetic, you would need to use an unlocked script.
