SetTrailStop with indicator

Hello,

I would like to know if i can set a trailing stop to a donchian channel. The SetTrailStop function is just related to price.

Anyone can help me ?

Thank you for your reply.

The simplest way would be to dynamically update the price of SetStopLoss with the current DonchianChannel value you want to follow. I'm attaching a very simple strategy that will enter long if the most recently closed bar is a green bar. It will set the stop loss to the lower channel of the donchian channel, and a profit target of 25 ticks. On each bar, as long as we are still in a long position, the stop will be modified to the current donchian channel price.
