Set stop loss and take profit using the VIX ?

Hi, im currently have a good working strategy but its dependant on the SL and TP being same as the VIX, is there a way of putting the stop loss and tp same as vix. The SL and TP is not moving so it will stay the same for every trade. Thanks.

Hi ishcan, thanks for posting. You can add the VIX as an instrument like so:

AddDataSeries("^VIX");

Hi, thanks for reply. I am familiar with the ability to add more than one data series.

I am trying to set the VIX as stop loss and take profit figures. I dont know if i have to unlock script as i could not find a way to do it through the strategy builder.

Hi, It would be possible in the builder but you can not use the stop and target section. You would need to use Exit orders similar to this example:
