optimizing strategies based on number of trades

Hello,

Recently i'm working on building trading strategies in the NT strategy builder, after that i put them through the strategy analyser and optimizer.
Now i'm wondering if there is any way (or a way that could be made by NT team) to optimize strategies based on number of trades. For example: I optimize for 'max profit factor' but the strategy has to make at least an x amount of trades. Because a lot of times when you optimize for max profit factor, it just makes one trade that is profitable because you get a profit factor of 99.

Thank you for your note.

It would not currently be possible to optimize by number of trades. We do have a current feature request to be able to set a minimum number of trades a strategy must make to be listed in the best results, which sounds essentially like what you're wanting. I've added a vote on your behalf to that request, which is being tracked under the number SFT-4804.

As with all feature requests, interest is tracked before implementation is considered, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment. If implemented, it will be noted in the Release Notes page of the Help Guide.
