Make an offset in strategy builder

Hello,

in strategy builder my trade will opened if all conditions are valid at once

I´d like to create an offset that as example condition 2 can get triggered even if condition 1 is still over and condition 2 came just close behind.

Thanks for your post.

In the Strategy Builder, you could set the conditions to If All or If Any.

When set to If All, ALL conditions in the Set must become true for an action to take place.

When set to If Any, any conditions could become true for an action to take place. This means if you have 2 conditions in a single Set, if either condition became true, the action would get called.

It would not be possible for an action to take place if a condition almost becomes true. The condition must become true for an action to happen.

If you would like to add an offset to a condition, you could certainly do so. For example, you could create a condition that checks if the Close price offset by 10 ticks is Greater than the SMA indicator.

See the attached screenshots demonstrating adding an offset to the Close price in a condition. Also, the screenshot demonstrates adding two conditions in a single Set and setting the Conditions to If Any so that if either condition became true, action would trigger.
