    ExitLongLimit to be true or false

    In this line of code here:

    targetOrder = ExitLongLimit(2, true, execution.Order.Filled, execution.Order.AverageFillPrice + LongProfitTarget * TickSize, "Long Profit Target1", @"Entered Long Position Contract1");

    Why would you want the condition to be true instead of false?

    Hello AdeptistJune,

    Thank you for your post.

    That is using this overload for ExitLongLimit:

    ExitLongLimit(int barsInProgressIndex, bool isLiveUntilCancelled, int quantity, double limitPrice, string signalName, string fromEntrySignal)

    "true" in this context means that this order will stay live until filled or explicitly cancelled. A demonstration of using CancelOrder() to explicitly cancel an order placed in this way may be found in our help guide here:

    Please let us know if we may be of further assistance to you.
