Changing Profit Target with Parabolic SAR

Hello:

I am trying to change my profit target in my strategy with the Parabolic SAR.

I use:

SetProfitTarget("My Trade", CalculationMode.Price, ParabolicSARValue, false)

However, the strategy does not change the profit target along with the Parabolic SAR. The profit target remains static.

How can this be done in NinjaTrader?

Hi, thanks for writing in. First, check the Log tab of the control center for any errors. I will assume you are setting ParabolicSARValue to the value of a parabolic SAR indicator. Use Print() to make sure this value is correct. You can also use SetParabolicStop() to set a similar stop price automatically.
