scripted use of a simulated stop limit entry

Hi,
I can't find a way to use a simulated stop limit entry, either by using ninjascript or through the use of ninjascript plus the ATM interface. Is there a solution?

Hello trader3000a,

For an entry you would just use your own logic to control submitting the order, as long as you don't submit an order that rests on the exchange that would work for that purpose of simulating it. The platform only has IsSimulated for stop market orders in NinjaScript, the order is simulated logically until the price is met at which point it is submitted as a market order. That type of order does show up differently in the platform, for an entry you would need to use logic to draw on the chart if you wanted to see the price limit before summitting a market order.

The order entry tools in the platform will allow you to do this manually by right clicking in the tool and checking the Simulated option. One option here would be to manually submit the order and then use the addon framework to then track the order/do logic.
