I can't edit strategy parameters after restoring a backup

Hello,

I am switching to a different computer and I restored a backup from the previous one. Everything seemed correct till the moment I tried to edit the parameters fo some strategies. After clicking "OK" the parameters didn't change.

I tried:

1. Restarting NT8 and the PC.
2. Deleting the strategy form the strategy tab and creating a new one. The new strategy is created correctly but afterwards I cannot edit it.
3. Reinstalling NT8 again and restoring the backup again.

I the original install I can edit the strategy parameters with no problem.

Can you please check if you are able to change strategy parameters for the 'Sample MA crossover' strategy.

Did you create these strategies yourself or could they be from a 3rd party vendor?

I made it myself.

With Sample SMA Crossover and other strategies of my own there is no problem to edit the parameters.

Maybe the compilation is corrupted?

If the sample strategy is working that would indicate a problem with your script. As I don't have the full details of what you tried I could only suggest to make a simple test strategy that has a user input and test with that. If you see the same problem then please upload that script along with the steps you had used so we can better understand at what point you are having a problem.

Problema solved.

I created a new strategy and I copied all the code from the original. Now it works.
