Indicator overload

    Jesse,

    I'm not quite sure which system indicator would tell me anything as there is not gong to be one that displays multiple divergences and as far as other indicators I already have six others incorporated in my strategy without a problem.

        Hello galsermil,

        Any standard indicator would be fine, you can use the SMA. Removing the custom indicator will test if the error is coming from that indicator. The purpose of that is a test, not to replace your custom indicator with a similar indicator. If the custom indicator has a problem when used from a strategy then it would need to be debugged.

        If you have used the strategy builder that will generate valid code that compiles. Compiling is step 1, after compiling you still have to run the script. Running the script can produce other errors which won't happen during a compile, those are called runtime errors. That would happen if the indicator is programmed with a logical flaw and then the strategy tries to use it.
