Position closed on reconnect

Hi everybody,

I am currently trying to test my strategies using a demo account (NT8 + Interactive Brokers Gateway). One big problem I have is the connectivity of both platforms since IB requires a restart of the gateway from time to time and my strategies are designed for longer time periods (weeks to months). Today I enountered the problem that right after the start of the day the only open position I was holding over night was closed by NT8 with the comment of 'Synchronize'. A little later another position was opened and then I disconnected IB Gateway (for testing reasons). When I turned on IB Gatway again and established the connection the second position was also closed with the same comment. My start behavior is currently set to 'Wait until flat, synchronize aco****'. Is this the problem?

Hello funtra513,

The Wait until flat start behavior will always start the strategy position as flat. If synchronize is on, this will flatten the account.
