Recover Strategy file after power outage

Hi,
My Windows 10 shutdown inadvertently on me while working in the editor on a strategy. Upon power up, I was able to get NT8 up and running but the strategy file doesn't appear
in the list of strategies even though it appears in the directory and when I try to view it with a text editor all I get is an empty window.
Does NT make a copy of the file(s) that are being worked on? Could it have been cached? Thank you.

Unfortunately, these are not cached.

I would recommend periodically saving your work with Ctrl + s, or by clicking the diskette icon at the top of the NinjaScript Editor title bar toolstrip.

Or compile which will also save.
