Managed Approach Unique signalName Limit

Where strategies generate entry and/or exit orders based on various different conditions the orders can of course can be submitted with identifying name strings like "SMA Cross Entry", "SMA Cross Exit", "5-Minute Exit", or whatever. However, I am developing a strategy where I would like to name each order with a unique name that is never reused. For example, something like:

"LongEntry-1",
"LongEntry-2",
"LongEntry-3",
etc.

The number of names therefore will grow over time without limit. I have no way to know exactly how the Managed Approach code keeps track of signal names or matches entry and exit orders associated with each other by names. My question is merely whether there will be significant resource or performance issues if the number unique names becomes large.

Hello caveat_lector,

The order names themselves are stored with the order and wouldn't be any larger or smaller if unique or the same.

You may want to store these unique names in a List (or other type of collection) which would take up size with the more elements added to the list.
