Trading - 2 Different Strategies 2 Different Charts Same Instrument at the same time.

anyone know how to make this possible?

When trying to run 2 different strategies at the same time on the same instrument ?

Is that even possible?

Or
is the one strategy going to interact with the trades from the other strategy, and basically, they destroy both ?


or is it simply one strategy running per 1 Instrument only on NT8?

I think the problem is that you're trying to trade the same instrument on the same account, using two different strategies, the orders from which may conflict with one another. I think setting up separate accounts, for instance an "intraday" account and a "long term" account, or whatnot, might solve your problem.

Ohh, hmm, ok. I'll look into how to set up what you mentioned. 2 accounts? i didn't know that was possible.
however yes, to what say,
both strategies have triggers to enter and exit the market. So , it looks when i run the two strategies on two different charts of the same instrument. the one strategy's order's interferes with the ordered from the other strategy.

Jambo is on the right line. Each strategy is like a person calling the broker and sending trades without talking to the other people trading the same account and same instrument.

The issue would be that one or both of the strategies positions may become out of sync with the account.
