    The best strategy for sale?

There are lots of strategies for sale in the Ecosystem.
Who has the best one thats for sale?
My friend told me AFT but its free.
Why isnt there a NinjaTrader sponsored competition to find out who is the best in the world?
You'd think that would drive hype to NT.
~50% accuracy is just random. Its not an edge. Thanks

      Here's my 2˘ ...

      Best one?
      Define that, please.
Oh, you mean, made the most money?
But there are hundreds of real-world variables, hundreds of economic situations,
hundreds of combinations of war, famine, abundance, the Fed, fear, doubt, and
not to mention times you simply get stopped out to the tick on your stop loss.

NinjaTrader Group focuses on the NinjaTrader platform and its brokerage services.
The EcoSystem is provided as a service and is more-like an open-air marketplace.
Analyzing all the available strategies would be non-trivial and extremely costly.

But I think the reason for the neutrality towards vendors is more plain: it's to avoid lawsuits.

      What lawsuits?
A recommendation on a specific product could be construed as providing financial advice.

Vendors upset over their poor recommendation might sue NinjaTrader.
Users upset over their poor results might sue NinjaTrader.

If you were in charge, you might rightly decide to avoid this entire legal can of worms and
just stay completely neutral and indifferent to making official recommendations.

There is no crystal ball in trading.

But users will sue anyways, expecting the sun & the moon from 'officially' recommended strategies,
arguing they saw it as financial advice, because the recommendation must have meant that NT did
lots of due diligence to make that recommendation, so now the user goes by published standings,
because all the user wants to do is buy the car, turn the key, and make money.

This is not the same as asking for recommendations on the best local restaurant. Recommendations
invite legal scrutiny if said recommendation doesn't work as advertised -- and NT doesn't want the
liability if the vendor's advertising happens to make too many promises.

      Just my 2˘.

      -=o=-

      You should study Collective2.
Note how they present the standings -- it's all about the money that is made.
Ok, great, you want NT to do something similar, right?

      I'll say it again,
Analyzing all the available strategies would be non-trivial and extremely costly.
Collective2 is a business ... and makes money being the middleman.
NT's EcoSystem is a service ... there is no middleman interference.
