    Slopes of Indicators

I think I've figured out how to use slopes in the Strategy Builder. I am unsure though what the decimals mean as far as how steep the angle is. This is for the ES. Would .5 equal about a 45 degree angle?

    Thanks!

    Hello srtrader,

The slope is not measured in angles because it is instrument dependent on what the value would be. You would need to review the slope values on that specific instrument and then use those values to set a range or value you are looking for in the condition.

What is the best way to go about reviewing the slope values? For example, if I want to use the slope of the 21 EMA in my strategy, how do I show that to review it?

        Hello srtrader,

A print would generally be the easiest way from the strategy builder. Alternatively you could make an indicator which Plots the value which would let you apply that to any instrument to judge what values are reported.
