Cancelled Order Confirmation ?

What's the best way to assure that all my orders have been cancelled ?

To clarify, do you mean active orders from a single strategy, every order including manual orders on the overall account, or all orders on a particular instrument and account combination? Are you looking to do this from a strategy or manually through the platform UI?

Right. This would be entirely for active orders produced by a single strategy. That is, before entering any orders for the next trade I want to make sure there are no currently active orders that might not have been cancelled from any previous activity. And, I want to do this entirely from within a strategy. In short, assume I am not doing any manual trading, and this is being done on a single instrument and a single account.

If you are keeping track of your orders using order variables to track them, you could check each to make sure that the order variable for that order is in a terminal state or has been set to null. IsTerminalState would be used to check whether the order is cancelled/filled/rejected etc. If all the order variables are either null or in a terminal state where you can set them to null, you can be certain there's no active orders.
