Additional position during reversal

Hi, I created one strategy with strategy builder. It has sets
1) Long entry conditions
2) Long exit conditions
3) Short entry conditions
4) Short exit conditions

Short exit and long entry conditions are almost same with minor differences. Usually both occurs at the same bar close.

At the time of short exit and long entry, short position should be closed and long position should be open. System should take 2 long position, one to cover short and another to create a new long. But to my surprise, system took 3 long positions as stated below.

1) buy to cover
2) close position
3) buy

So now After closing of short position, now I have 2 long open positions instead of one.

Seniors, please help.

Thanks for your post.

Do not call Enter and Exit methods at the same time, as this is what causes the additional order to be submitted.

If you want to reverse, call EnterShort when Long and EnterLong when Short.
