What is the best way to learn Ninja Trader Condition maker ?

I'm still exploring ninja trader, I have seen the ninja trader guide https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...?calculate.htm but its not in complete depth. Is there any other way to learn about the bar count. Lets say what is bar 0 and what is bar 1 ? and what is arithmetic ? is there any way to get the answer for all the questions ? Thanks

As far as bar counts, there's two concepts you need to be aware of. CurrentBar and BarsAgo.

CurrentBar (which you can access under the Misc folder in the Condition Builder counts the bars from left to right on the chart, starting at 0 with the very oldest bar on the chart. The next bar will be CurrentBar = 1 and so on. This differs from the Bars Ago setting for indicators and other series - what that refers to is how many bars ago from the currently forming bar you want to get the value of the indicator or series for. So, if you want to get the Close price for 5 bars ago, you can do that. The currently forming bar will be 0 bars ago, the next bar back would be 1 bars ago and so on.

Arithmetic in the offset section will offset the returned value by either adding, subtracting, multiplying or dividing the returned value by whatever value you specify. This is the only math you can really do with the Strategy Builder.
