Automatic rollover for ES?

For automated strategies, do they automatically rollover contracts and where does one manage that? Trading ES.

Hello rocketstock,

These would not automatically rollover. (Automatically rolling instruments could leave a position open on the previous instrument contract without you being aware that it was changed)

You would need to rollover instruments manually.

Thank you so how can we manage this? Do we have to stop the startegy and restart with new contract?

Hello rocketstock,

Manually clicking the Rollover Button (after checking you have no open positions), will also rollover strategies (along with charts and instrument lists).

Save the workspace after that.
