How to run a long and short strategies simultaneously?

I'd like to run a long and short strategy without closing positions of each strategy when one or the other enters a position. How would I do this?

Hello relogical,

This would require placing the orders to different accounts as an account may only have one position per instrument. (This also true with brokerage accounts)

A NinjaScript Strategy is only able to send orders natively to the Account selected for the strategy.

Using the Addon Approach it is possible to send orders to another account, however these will not be reflected with the strategy position or order events.
