If you have another PC that you can use for testing that would be helpful, unfortunately I don't have any additional direction that I could provide as I can see this working when I test it. If there are more specific steps you had used to see the script not working I could try to test it again using those steps to see if we can reproduce a problem.

i have an other PC, on the other PC i have the same behavior. And you have the DataSeriesSample. This will not work.
In my oppinion, if ths DataSeriesSample works as it should, my Original Strategie will also work.

Is there some "Developer-Log" in the Ninjatrader which i can see and send to you?

This is Paul responding for Jesse who is out of the office today.

I've downloaded your example script from post #1 and applied it to a 1 minute chart of BTCUSD while connected to the coinbase connection. In the output window I see both Bars In progress being printed both historically and live.

Please do write into us as PlatformSupport[a]Ninjatrader[dot]com. Market the e-mail Atten Jesse, Ticket# 3424888. In the body of the e-mail please include a reference link to this thread.

Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your e-mail so we may investigate this matter further.

• Open the Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to "Documents" > Open the "NinjaTrader X" folder (X being your version of NinjaTrader)
• Right-click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
• Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to the email.
• Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

Note: please do not post your log or trace files in a public forum such as this.

i checket the Version on My Machine:
Its the newest Version.

but i found something strange during debuggin:

Times[3][0]

return everytime the correct Time until to 01.01.2022 00:00:00
After them it returns everytime this Date.

Unfortunately this is not enough information to assist further. We have had multiple techs try your sample code and we see the working result so we would need more specific details on how you are seeing a problem if we are to assist.

One note is that the use of Times[3][0] is not valid in contrast to the sample you gave. Your sample only adds 1 series and Times[3][0] points to a 4th series. It seems you either have an error in your code or that you did not provide a correct example of the problem.

If you have trouble with specific code we need the specific steps using that exact code and we need all the details so that we can accurately assist. We are unable too create custom test scripts for you so if you need to show something you will need to create a sample that demonstrates the problem and include steps to see that problem using that sample.

Yes, there is realy not many information. I wrote a sample Strategie which have the same troubles as my Original Strategy. Since 01.01.2022 00:00:00 i get no OnBarUpdate with DataSeries.
Of course, i can not send my Original Strategie.
But the sample Strategie have the same troubles.

This Times[3][0] is from my Original Strategy, i thought this could be a hint for you, that there is something strange in the .Net Framework of Ninjatrade.
I have 3 Machines, 2 VMWare and one "real" PC. On all machines i have the same behavior.

I have no idea what i can send to you, which can help to solve this Problem.

Unfortunately we can only test using the information you give, we wont be be able to guess what code is actually being used on your end.

The sample you provided in post 1 does not have the problem described so you would at this point need to debug your actual script which is having problems and form a similar sample based on that.

If you need to use more than 1 series please make a new script that is very similar to the one in your first post that includes the relevant code. Please also test that script on your end to confirm you still see the problem using the sample script. After doing that collect the specific steps you used and provide those as well.

the Sample-Strategy from Post 1 has the same Problem as my Original Strategy.

Debugging my Orignal Strategy has no plan, because, OnBarUpdate is not called with the DataSeries, i only can debug thing which have an error but not which is not exisiting.

In Backtesting (State = Historical) everything works well, On State = Realtime, the added Dataseries will not call OnBarUpdate.

I have no idea what i can do on my side.

the Sample-Strategy from Post 1 has the same Problem as my Original Strategy.

We would need specific steps on what you are doing when seeing that. If you see it on more than one PC using the same set of steps we can also try the same steps to confirm that but we need to know specifically what to do. If you are configuring the chart in a certain way when you open it to test we need that detail as well to make sure we are doing the same test.

As noted we tried the original sample you gave which would be on two separate PC's, there has been no problem observed.

i use NinjaTrade since once year and i hade many troubles with the stability of this application.
The most Times i could solve them, in reinstal the complet Virtual Maschine.
But, in the case i would work with real money on the Exchange, and i have some troubles is it a no go to use NinjaTrade.
NinjaTrade is a realy nice and simple Application, i like it. But it didn't work.

I decide with "my Team" to leave NinjaTrade and develop an own Tradingplattfrom.
