Thanks for your post.
If the indicator is providing a signal plot, that means the plot's previous values can be accessed. The plot will have a value on each bar and will be +1, -1, or 0. Typically it would output a zero when there is no signal and then the +1/-1 when there is a signal.
So if you check for the previous bar value of the plot is 0 and the plot's current bar value is 1 then you have detected that the indicator has just changed. Likewise, you can check if the previous bar value of the plot was 0 and the current bar value of the plot is -1.
